How to Find Simulator Statistics

By Guest Author Michelle Claypool

Many times for projects or just pure curiosity, you want to see some statistics on your Laerdal manikins. If you are using LLEAP software, there is a very simple way to see how many details about how your manikin is running. It used to be that you could only see this data by going through various screens. Now, this data is easily reachable by anyone that operates a manikin. By two clicks of a button, an operator can view practically any data that one could want.

Once you have the LLEAP system launched, head over to the Tools tab on the toolbar. From there, scroll down to Simulator Setup, which should be the last option, then go to Check Simulator Statistics, which again, should be the last option. This will bring up a box that has all of the statistics about your manikin.

This data can be used in a variety of ways. For instance, you can track manikin usage by the amount of times he has been powered on, perhaps you can use that information to justify purchase of a new one. If you need manikin data for a research project, this would be a great way to get it because all of your stats are in one easy place.
