Join the Simulation Hackathon at SIMULUS4
Simulation Hackathon! Now that we have your attention. India’s 4th Annual National Conference - SIMULUS 4 will be held on February 27th to March 3rd 2019 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. As a collaboration between leading organizations PediSTARS, IPSS, and INSPIRE, the event is suitable for all involved in healthcare simulation and health professional education. The program includes topics of Quality in Healthcare, Use of Simulation, Pediatric and Neonatal Emergencies and a Sim Wars competition. We think one of the most exciting program highlights is the Simulation Hackathon.
Hackathons are undertaken to achieve a specific goal. Traditionally, they are a social coding event that bring computer programmers and other interested participants together to improve upon and existing software program or develop a completely new program.
The Simulation Hackathon encourages simulation experts to develop low-cost effective training models. It provides opportunity for clinicians, engineers, entrepreneurs, and software developers to meet and solve a problem or develop a new idea and is a powerful mechanism for industry-wide experimentation and collaboration. The goal of this Hackathon is to develop low cost resources that will enable safe simulation training across India’s healthcare training institutions. Over the course of the full day Hackathon, participants will hear clinicians pitch their problems or ideas, meet with respective clinicians, form a team, brainstorm, and then develop and present their solution.
The event will take place on March 3rd, 2019, for more information click here:
