Exhibitor Prospectus & Sponsorship Opportunities

Save the date to join us next 27th-29th of June!  This specialized hands-on conference is a unique training meeting which allows for direct vendor engagements with the real “end-users” of simulation-based technology. Join this international technical-based professional medical simulation community to train and showcase your products/services through exhibitor hall tables and/ or direct hands-on class experiences.

For the past seven years, SimGHOSTS has continued to expand support of the international community of Simulation Technology Specialists and healthcare simulation technology users through global annual hands-on training events and online resources. Our 2017 USA event hosted by WakeMed Center for Innovative Learning was a rousing success which brought together over two hundred simulation champions from around the world.

Now entering its eighth year, The Gathering Of Healthcare Simulation Technology Specialists (SimGHOSTS) 501(c)(3) organization is responding to community requests to return to Australia for the 2018 Asia-Pacific Region event. After a one year break to support Asia's growing healthcare simulation community with our Singapore event at S3 later this month, SimGHOSTS announces today that we will return to Australia in 2018 to our original host: The University of the Sunshine Coast.

In our commitment to build upon international relationships to support the global healthcare simulation community, SimGHOSTS is pleased to announce our special partners for the 2018 event! We are excited to support and collaborate with Simulation Australasia, the Australian Society for Simulation in Healthcare (ASSH), and the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge Australasia. This collaborative event will bring together simulation champions from a variety of clinical, educational, managerial and technical backgrounds enabling attendees to best network, learn, and share with one another and our specialized vendor industry partners.

SimGHOSTS have made some Board and leadership changes since their last event in Australia in 2016. The most recent change was the appointment of long-time volunteer and Board member Kirrian Steer to the position of Global Operations Manager in September 2017. Kirrian is based in Australia and will lead an increased presence for SimGHOSTS in supporting the Australian simulation community. As part of her new role, Kirrian will be the event director, with support from Dr. Patrea Andersen and her team at USC.

About SimGHOSTS:

Our mission is to empower the growing international community of healthcare professionals utilizing simulation technology to improve patient outcomes through our hands-on training events, online resources, courses, research, and professional development support.

Since starting out of the Clinical Simulation Center of Las Vegas in 2011, SimGHOSTS has provided almost a dozen international annual hands-on training events around the world and supported thousands of online subscribers with digital networking and resources.

A key strategy in achieving our mission is to connect the world’s growing population of simulation technology professionals. The SImGHOSTS leadership has continued to engage in relationship building with organizations inside and outside the United States. We are now affiliated with HIMSS, ASPiH, Simulation Australasia, SSH, INACSL, PSMF, and IPSS.

Why should you join us in June?

Part-time/full-time Sim Techs and other simulation staff are the primary operators or ‘end-users’ of simulation based technology and are quickly becoming the defacto program representatives regarding all future simulation-related technology purchases. While learners engage with the devices, it is the technical team that installs, setup, operates, maintains, repairs, and replaces such technologies.

85% of SimGHOSTS participants surveyed say they have “strong” or “primary” influence and/or responsibility for “technology-based equipment purchase decisions for their simulation labs”. SimGHOSTS provides an opportunity for medical simulation based vendors to directly engage with the new and experienced end-users of this emerging industry to demonstrate and/or train your products and services.

Your sponsorship directly goes to increasing the community support provided by SimGHOSTS. Our goal is not to maximize revenue but rather, after covering operations and growth costs, maximize value for both attendees and vendors. See below for the specific benefits available to your company through sponsorship of the SimGHOSTS event.

Discuss and demonstrate your products/services to an expected attendance of 150 simulation and serious games professionals from around the world.

Provide direct hands-on training to those who are responsible for the utilization of your products/services. The primary goal of SimGHOSTS is to provide technical hands-on training in product operation, maintenance & repairs.

Gain access and engage with critical discussions the technical community is having about your products/ services. SimGHOSTS goes beyond one-on-one networking by also providing vendors opportunities to gain constructive technical feedback through sessions, attendee surveys, and online discussions.

Gain discounted access to our new Vendor Council to continue the technical conversations and online marketing of your products throughout the year.

Expand beyond the in-person meeting with HD-recorded content distributed to our global online community. Key sponsored SimGHOSTS sessions are recorded (and/or live-streamed) for the international sim champ community, providing long-term support and advertising to the community.

Build relationships with your customers by selecting a Gold or Platinum sponsorship and supporting the opening keynote & reception, competitions in technical achievement or innovation, or plenary sessions highlighting success stories.

2016 Australia & 2017 USA Exhibitors we THANK YOU and look forward to your participation in 2018!

Benefits & Pricing

SimGHOSTS is dedicated to expanding the technical training and networking opportunities between our international community and key industry partners. To that end, our leadership has carefully reflected on vendor feedback from previous events and online campaigns in order to continue to improve quality and efficiency. See the chart below for all the specific tier benefits and pricing opportunities.

What’s New for Australia 2018?

By joining forces, SimGHOSTS & the Australia-based event partners aim to provide a high quality focused event that provides ample networking, exhibit, and learning opportunities. Because we are being hosted at a simulation center and not a conference hall, the smaller space will provide high quality engagements with more opportunities to meet every attendee in our intimate vendor area.

With SimGHOSTS, higher tier exhibitors receive increased benefits including increased online and event marketing, exhibit space and location priority, educational courses, plenary and keynote sessions, complimentary badges, and included sponsorship activities.

This year, the sole Platinum Sponsor will gain the largest exhibit and marketing presence, along with sponsorship of the keynote address and opening reception networking event. To encourage the development of strong customer relationships and product knowledge the Platinum sponsor will be able to provide two training courses or product demonstration sessions throughout the agenda.

Two Gold Sponsorships will allow for a large exhibit presence with considerable marketing presence, as well as sponsorship of one of the two plenary general audience sessions. As well, Gold Sponsors are empowered to provide one training course or product demonstration sessions in the agenda.

Silver Sponsors will receive a sponsorship opportunity of one the following, along with increased marketing, exhibit table space, and one educational or product demo course during the agenda.

Silver Option 1) All event meals

Silver Option 2) All event transportation

Silver Option 3) All event lanyards

Silver Option 4) Innovative Showcase Session

Bronze sponsors continue their opportunity to engage the audience in the exhibit hall area, and are listed on the website.

We also have a special Serious Games sponsorship category. This sponsorship does not include an exhibit but provides branding in the exhibition space in the Serious Games demonstration area where finalists showcase their games to attendees. The sponsor logos will also feature on the certificates and trophies provided to the winner of each category.
